10 Comments on “Day 292, Sunday – late update

  1. Ron, as always, thank you for Donna’s update after being there all day and evening. Praying that tomorrow will bring good news about the other cultures and hoping the new pain medicine will give her relief when trying to breathe. We love you! Hugs to you, Ryan, and sweet Donna.

  2. Well, DAMN! Somehow I seem to get a vibe when you’ve posted! Thanks ever so much for the update…not great news…but had a “need to know”.

    Hugs!

    Better day tomorrow…even more hugs!

Don’t know how you keep going…oh, yes I do…it’s the love you share…

Will attempt to reach you tomorrow to see what’s the best time to visit…doesn’t seem there’s been about any time her room isn’t crowded with friends and loved ones…

    Dream of angels…

  3. Ron, hang in there. I pray that tomorrow will bring better results. I am sure you have post this info somewhere on the blog but I could not find it. What times can Donna have visitors? And is she still in the Perot building? Thanks, love to all of you. Donna

    • Donna – in case Ron hasn’t seen this – visiting hours are 24/7. Park in Lot 11, go into the Hamon building – 3rd floor…when you get out of the elevator, turn right, turn right again through the double doors, go to the second set of double doors – you can open them by hand or there is also a button to your right that will open them…Donna’s room is 357 – it’s the first room on your left after you go through the second set of double doors. You’ll need to put a gown and gloves on before you go in. I was there today for a bit…don’t know I can remember everyone who was there! Ignore the Dallas weather – wear something cool-ish because the gowns are plastic and very, very warm

      • OK, you get to Parking #11…if you’re coming East on Walnut Hill…take the very first entrance to Presby – shortly after you go under the train tracks. Go past the 1st parking lot, Parking #11 is on down the hill. You’ll enter the building at the west end of the lot – keep on down the hall until you get to the elevators – punch 3 – you’ll then turn right…and…follow the rest of the directions. I’d have been really confused – that place is HUGE – EXCEPT my Mom was there about 15 months ago – and, ironically, her room was 2 doors down from where Donna is – so had to learn my way around. There is a vending machine room just to the right of the elevators – go past that, past the “desk”, then you’ll see the first set of double doors. (Sorry, Ron, didn’t mean to step all over your reply…you just need to get some rest, ‘k?)

        • OK, if you’re coming from the West on Walnut Hill, take a left at the light, then keep veering to the right to and then southbound to reach Parking 11.

  4. The lack of infection on the results that had returned already, and her good vitals, are encouraging signs indeed. Said more prayers for Donna, and her family today (my whole church did, actually)…

Will watch for the updates that you so kindly keep providing – it’s not just good therapy for you, you know…

    Hang in there –
    Tomorrow is a new day…

  5. Thank you so very much for the update!!! All I can do from here is pray, wring my hands and bite my fingernails. We, her Lanham cousins love her dearly and appreciate being kept informed. Judy
