Ron, Donna is so fortunate to have so many friends and relatives praying for her. I am also praying that you will be strong through this trying time. You are a gem!
So sorry I missed seeing you and Ryan yesterday. I got to give Donna a hug and kiss and I read her a note that I received from Pat Abruzzo (one of the ladies on the cruise)…here it is:
Oh Jo I am so sorry to hear this. I have such fond memories of our cruise together and how friendly and fun Donna was to be with. And, all of us learning how to play “Hand & Foot” was a hoot! I am so glad that we had that Time together and that I was able to meet Donna.
Such a special lady.
Love and prayers,
Pat
Hello Ron
My name is Holly Bilyeu Elliott. I worked with Donna in reservations. We went on a couple of trips together back in the day, including a cruise. She is such a great person, we had so much fun. I ran into her several years ago between flights and only had a moment to chat. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, and especially Donna.
Our prayers are still with you all. My brother-in-law is an associate pastor & his prayer group of 100+ folks & his church are sending up some powerful prayers for y’all. I hope you feel the strength it can bring.
Please tell Donna that everyone at the PD is thinking of and praying for her. We all know what a strong-willed sweet lady she is and are counting on her strong spirit and can do attitude to help get her back on her feet. Lease let us know if there is anything at all we can do for her or your family. We would be honored to help out in any way at all. Give that special lady our love and best wishes.
Oh, my, I continue to be amazed at how many lives Donna has touched and brightened. I ALWAYS knew, since we met in ’76, how I’ve been blessed with her friendship. Waiting for the next post from her perfect mate…so many years, so much love. My wish would be you’d post every hour on the hour…will see you tomorrow – have to meet Heidi…BTW, please remember to let me know when she’ll be going back to LV…only got a one way ticket because we weren’t sure when she’d go back. Still have 113K+ miles on SW if she can endure the stopover. And, if you’d let me know, Ron, whether you and Ryan like corned beef – putting a couple into the slow cooker tonight so I can bring you “boys” a buffet tomorrow – unless you wish to tell me how you wish me to build your sandwiches – have pumpernickel bread, ciabatta, sauerkraut, 1000 island dressing, swiss and provolone cheese, and 4 different kinds of mustard! Can put them together, or will bring the items separately. Will also put a pie in the oven for dessert – cherry crunch or Very Berry…your choice. Others might feed your soul – I’m happy to feed your tummies! Not nearly as great a cook as Donna, but, as I told you, her FIRST directive to me was “Keep an eye on my guys”…
Love and hugs from me…
Sloppy doggy kisses from Cristol and Charlie.
Tim and Wade both send their love – I’m supposed to give Donna kisses from them next time I’m there.

Thanks for the updates, Ron. Good to know Ryan made it, and that you were able to pick him up.
Prayers continue for the ventilator removal…

BTW, that wouldn’t be all those ingredients on one sandwich! Blech!
